Welcome POW3RHOUSE!
My name is Joshu'wa Reid, a Senior Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and I am deeply honored to be serving as your 2026 Fall Regional Conference Chairperson.
The Region III Executive Board and I are thrilled to welcome you to downtown Atlanta at the Courtland Grand Hotel from Friday, November 13th to Sunday, November 15th. Atlanta holds a key location in NSBE history, as it is a foundational hub for STEM excellence, resilience, and leadership. Hosting FRC here places us just minutes away from an incredible local ring of NSBE chapters spanning from NSBE Jr. to Professionals, and directly nearby a thriving ecosystem of tech startups and global enterprises. To those new to the city, consider this FRC your home away from home.
Our theme for this year's conference is "Engineer with Intention."
As we enter a fast-moving, rapidly evolving technological landscape, fulfilling the NSBE Mission requires us to approach our growth with deliberation. Engineering with intention means diversifying our experiences, looking outside the box, and defining a new blueprint to champion change in this new age.
To bring this theme to life, this FRC will offer unique, curated experiences designed to help you leave confident and visionary:
• Reimagined Connections: Networking in Region III is like no other. We want your interactions with peers, alumni, and corporate partners to feel more relaxed and genuine because a meaningful relationship is just as powerful as an interview slot.
• Niche Disciplines & Alternative Technical Skills: Discover distinct workshop topics and STEM-adjacent skills that you won't find in a standard classroom, opening your horizon to what an engineering career can look like.
• Showcasing & Sowing Your Talent: Showcase your talents through high-impact competitions and challenges that allow you to put your technical competence on display, alongside collaborative events prepared together with our local chapters to pour back into the Atlanta community.
Region III has always been the perfect hub for student leaders. This conference will be your place to redefine your leadership with intention.
Redefine the blueprint as we hope to see you all in Atlanta!
3House!
